Chutiduwa Livestock (Pvt) Ltd has been established in 1993 at the village Havana in Nattandiya in the North Western Province, about 74km away from the capital of Colombo. The farm is situated in and extent of land of 50 acres at a magnificently beautiful and an environmental friendly location. This is an integrated farm where a variety of animals are reared.
This plantation consisted of banana, Mango, Papaw, Lemon and different types of number of various varieties of vegetables are also grown in this farm.
There are 3 large ponds presently used for collecting rainy water and that used for inland fish culture. Fertilizers used here are completely Bio fertilizers originated from reared animals. Fodder grass and other crops are grown using treated waste water generated from the piggery.
This farm is contrasted such a way the inner environment of the farm to become pleasing to the visitors and the workers. It is also considered as a model farm for university students frequently visits are made by agriculture students of universities, Technical colleges and schools. The technical instructions provided by the experts available to the farm. The management has spent a considerable high amount of money to improve the farm to the present level; from the environmental point of view.
